The rules, plainly
- You buy once per major version. Updates within that version are free and install themselves.
- The next major version is 50% off for owners of the previous one.
- Upgrade any tier by paying the difference — Solo to Local Pro is $650, never $799 again.
- A 30‑day free trial with every feature, no card. When it ends the app becomes read‑only; nothing is deleted, and entering a key brings it straight back.
- Requesters are always free, in any number, and need no account.
- “Per site” means one building or campus running one copy.
- Editions are enforced by the app itself — your key carries the tier. Moving up is pasting a new key under Admin → License: no reinstall, no migration, nothing to redo.
How to buy today
Card checkout is coming. For now, email contact@workloadwall.com with the tier you want and the name the licence should be issued to, and a key comes back to you by hand — usually the same day.
Your trial data stays exactly where it is; entering the key unlocks the copy you have already set up.
Cloud Edition
Hosted, multi‑site, coming
A hosted version for people who would rather not keep a PC on, and for companies running several sites that want one wall across all of them. It is $12 per agent per month plus $29 per site per month, billed annually, with a Connect tier at $19 + $49 that adds Autotask, ServiceTitan and single sign‑on.
There is no date. When there is one, the list hears first.
Questions
What exactly does the free trial include?
Everything, for 30 days — including remote access, import and AI intake, whichever tier you eventually buy. No card, no account, no feature held back.
What happens when the trial ends?
WorkloadWall goes read‑only. Your tickets, projects and mailboxes are all still there and can still be read and exported; new work just stops being accepted until a licence key is entered. Nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage.
What does “buy once per major version” mean?
Your key covers a major version — 1.x, say — for as long as you want to run it. Every 1.x update is free and installs itself. If and when 2.0 arrives you can stay on 1.x forever, or move up at 50% off the then‑current price. There is no subscription and no expiry.
Can I move up a tier later?
Yes, at any time, by paying the difference between what you paid and the tier you want. Email contact@workloadwall.com and a new key is issued against the same install — you paste it under Admin → License and the higher limits apply immediately. Nothing is reinstalled and no data moves.
Do requesters need licences?
No. The whole building can raise requests and watch the wall without an account of any kind. Agent seats are the only thing counted.
Refunds?
Thirty days, no argument. Email contact@workloadwall.com and the purchase is refunded in full. Given the trial gives you the entire product for a month beforehand, this should rarely be needed.
Is this a Jira or Zendesk replacement?
No. WorkloadWall is for departments of one to ten people who take requests from the rest of the building — IT, facilities and maintenance, operations, office admin. It is not built for a fifty‑seat support organisation, and it is not a field‑service app: there is no scheduling, quoting or invoicing in it.
What about my data?
It stays in your building, on the PC you installed it on. There is no cloud account behind the local editions and no copy of your tickets anywhere else. Nightly backups are written locally on Local Pro.
